Hahaha, such silly names!
Who would even want to live in a town called Glasgow?
Isle of man ; lol
Texas checking in… We don’t have as good of names like that but we have cities like Paris, Athens, and Odessa, TX. I think there are maybe 20 to 25 international city names that would make a fascinating road trip and probably be over 1K miles/1600 Km.
So not only do you guys not have a sense of humor, you also aren’t even creative enough to come up with your own names?
Pathetic
you can claim you traveled to all those cities and hope people don’t have a follow-up question
You can go see the Parthenon (full scale) and a Pyramid (not accurate) in Tennessee
There are some random things around the U.S. that often get overlooked.
Since I’ve seen this route I’ve constantly came
You missed out Minge Lane.
I’ve always liked that one. On a scale of fanny to gash, how impolite is it considered over there?
Quick, someone print out and photocopy this photo
The best part about Shitterton is that the name comes from “sewer town.” Not another language, no alternate meaning, it is just as it sounds in modern English.
The sign for Shitterton had to be carved out of a big chunk of local stone, because the normal metal ones kept getting nicked. Obviously.
I just confirmed that all of those places are real as depicted
I always thought Twatt and Shitterton were so close to each other… Shows what I know

“I tried out that shit barber shop, not bad!”
Ass Hill, you say 👀
Hey Assman!
I am equally impressed that the journey is over 1k miles, considering the entire island is about 600 miles top to bottom. An extra 400 miles of no straight roads.
I heard the phrase, “as the bird flies” recently in reference to the 600 miles type of measurement and thought that was neat
“As the crow flies” is a pretty common expression on this very isle
Lmaoo Glasgow
Still avoids Scunthorpe. There is no good reason to visit Scunthorpe.
I think that’s the Tom Scott video where I learned about Penistone
I’ve only learned the name “Scunthorpe” recently because I was reading up on a band I really like from there. I remember noting that it was about the ugliest name for a town I could think of that doesn’t actually contain any recognizable words… but I would assume it’s a perfectly lovely place regardless of that
Doesn’t actually contain any recognizable words
I take it you’ve not heard of the Scunthorpe problem?
