BSD is technically UNIX derived, but being more specific isn’t the reason why it has distinct branding. Defending the economy when we all know our paychecks are shrinking relative to rising costs wasn’t a wise move by the Democrats. Other countries are reporting different and positive results. I think this is the kind of thing that we will see the outcome of decades later. It will be interesting to see how much of the perceived negative impact is due to ingrained racism and xenophobia especially in the West.
