I love how holodecks lacked an Oh Shit button. What’s an Oh Shit button? It’s a big red button on a piece of dangerous machinery that kills the power and stops everything. When something goes wrong and you say “Oh Shit!” and not the button. I literally trained people thus way. It’s a convenient way to associateb the use of the button with the purpose for it.
Imagine how much safer (and less interesting the shows) would be if you could just run to the door, flip the little lid, and smack the big red button to kill the power to the stupid thing.

Here in Illinois is Woodstock, at ~25,600 (2020 per Wikipedia). It was the town where Groundhog Day was filmed. There’s even some small road signs here and there mentioning it for the rare tourist who comes to see it. Smallest place in the state I can think of, though there’s smaller towns that have been used for movies.
Some upcoming off-brand Hallmark x-mas movie will feature local tourist trap town Long Grove IL, pop ~ 8,300 (2020 per Wikipedia). The director grew up near there so knew about it and thought it’d be perfect for his movie.
My dream is one where exclusive and limited edition physical game content isn’t exclusive or limited anymore. Because you’re fucking over latecomers who don’t have $1k+ to spend on that shit a decade later, dipshits. At least make that stuff available digitally as PDF and STL files.
