I see this often as well. I usually put in holds on several things at a time. I often find that the had is passed to me much quicker than the estimated time when queues are long like this. I suspect people are in line for several things and just pass along when it becomes available and they’re reading something else. I similarly will pass on holds when the become available and I am reading something else.

Tldr, I recommend putting in the hold anyway, and seeing what happens. But put in holds on lots of options for best results.

Also, funny coincidence – or not-- I recently listened to The Godfrey Audio Guide Episode 3: Cubes and Angels Which is an art history/fiction audio podcast covering both real and imagined art. In this episode, the Cubes are imagined, but the Angels refers to Max Earnst’s Fireside Angel. And I think your work has a similar feel, so I find it very interesting that your painting biblically accurate angles. Isn’t it funny how you run across these odd things, then start seeing them everywhere? Oh, I hope I don’t start seeing them IRL!

Where do you get fabric? Im a basic person, and could wear the same shirt every day if I had enough of them. I was considering doing this with a basic shirt I saw on Amazon, that I liked, but it’s $30.

I like this whole place, and the cozy fridge too. Our landlord took a month to replace a broken fridge fridge (so much wasted money living without a fridge for a month!). They picked a new model that is not magnetic. I’m not sure if it was just the cheapest, or if you he decision was driven by their complaints during our rental inspections of too much stuff don the fridge. It’s the kids’ art and school work we are proud of. Last rental inspections we had nothing on the front of the fridge and they complained about the kids’ fingerprints on stainless steel. I hate stainless. I need a shag fridge.

Yep, and similarly, just write/draw/whatever in your cool notebooks. Using them regularly over time is the thing that makes them special. Not some grand effort at perfection.
