My brother-in-law installed Linux Mint for his parents and they are very happy with it. The only problem was downloading epubs with Adobe DRM, so I taught her how to use knock¹ in the terminal and then import the book into Calibre to upload them to her ereader.

I wish I could use Linux at work but the software used does not have any alternative (that I can use) and I can’t be bothered with debloating and all that jazz. I try to keep work and private seperate instead.

Buy now, pay later does not prevent crippling debt. It makes it easy to buy without thinking or realising the actual cost. It makes is easy to stack up invoices that you in the end can’t afford.

My partner gets super dry skin and cant shower everyday during winter. I shower daily, as in enough water to use soap where I smell and rinse after.
