Dividing by region doesn’t make much sense. At least longitudinally it doesn’t make sense. Santa starts delivering presents at night, so you would have several Santas on standby until it’s nighttime in their region. If they all work together starting in the earliest timezone, they can divide the houses to deliver to and better stay ahead of their dawn deadline around the world.

That’s a different problem. Or, if you don’t want to solve that problem, you’ll have an infection problem. But you don’t have to worry about getting out of bed in the middle of the night anymore.
