There are some around my parent’s house, those can be loud as fuck. Sometimes one would start making high pitch screams for half an hour or so.

I think they messed up and went for the ancestors of bonobos, that’s why they’re so chill.

The podcast “372 pages we’ll never get back” with Mike and Connor from MST3K/rifftrax did its second season on it. Kind of a book club with books they assume they’re going to hate (mostly). First season was Ready Player One, from Cline too, so they chose this one next because they were astonished that Armada could be considered the bad one compared to RP1.

Where I live, even our winter time isn’t close to be aligned with sun time (GMT+1 though we’re basically on the Greenwich meridian). Summer time is off by two hours.

Problem is, our school/work/activity schedules have been made to adapt to that, so having days centered around actual sun midday would sound like crazy talk to people. It’s just because of how we already compensated for it.

In France we did switch last week. Almost nobody cares about going out for trick or treat, though.
