see. now I have seen references to soap but never really got that to. when it comes down to it my biggest concern is things just work.

This is sorta funny for me because as a non cs major who went into it it seems like all the api’s I work with are called rest apis and I was always wondering what a non rest api would be.

Im amazed at how much X has had kids. Seems nuts. Then I realize I might have done it if I had went 4 years to college and started working right after and if within a few years made a family raising type of wage. That double major and one year in a PhD may have saved me.

email is the main way I want communications sent to me. I still get annoyed statements can’t be emailed over mailed. mailed is not more secure. just leave out most of the account number or better yet have a unique statement account number

um self destruct can only be instigated by some officers and has to be concured with others and command codes have to be given. unless your talking about something else???

they did. they would mention backups and when everything was out except life support that is because of the reserves for life support. the lighting did change but not go out completely with power outages. there may be some episodes where it did but presumably whatever happened in those also hit the backups.

I guess it depends on the individual. I in no way want more excitement. I want to not have to worry about the future. I would be a much happier camper if my country did universal health care although I would still worry about falling into proverty with only a bit of bad luck.

oh yeah. I don’t think adds don’t effect me in terms of knowing something exists over not knowing they exist but its ineffective for purchase decision.

I really don’t think I did. I was not using steam rally till I got one. Pretty sure I heard about it first here. unless you include that as an add. Again why am I not doing fast food like I used to. Did the ads stop. did the ads lose their power. Its just stupid.

I find this so stupid. Yes some people are not influenced by ads. I don’t shop at a food store due to its ads. I never saw an ad for a steamdeck or an acer laptop. I don’t eat fastfood now due to expense but the ads did nothing more than at best tell me of some new item which I might try. Im looking around my house and I can’t think of any ad that correlates to the stuff I own. By and large everything was comparison shopped for aspects I wanted vs price.
