You’ve never heard of peop fucking with wild animals and finding out? Must be in the middle of a city if dogs are your worst animal fear. We get rattle snakes, scorpions, hawks, and coyotes out here. Ever fuck around with a coyote? Or a rattle snake? Think someone should be able to just grab one of them without a permit and home it?
Rattle enakes and coyotes are the only two of those i wouldnt be willing to handle wild. If you know what you are doing most animals make their body language pretty clear. And the vast majority of them want nothing to do with you unless they deem you as a non threat. As far as taking them home, i dont think you should take any animal home unless it clearly seems open to domestication. Ive handled scorpions locally that were super chill, i go out of my way to handle local jumping spiders if theyre willing to jump on me. Dogs are the only animal i see and my first instinct is fear and yet they dont require anything. I mean a lot of them are literally bred to kill shit, yet have less oversight than a squirrel.
