One underrated feature of Lemmy is that unlike Facebook, YouTube, etc., negative reactions like downvotes don’t contribute towards promoting the offending content.
its hilarious how inevitably uptight everyone gets about this XD all i have to do is engage and yall keep coming to heap
abuse over something so meaningless
thx for the suggestion! i actually trained myself and am very aware of the systems and cultures that inform my behavior tho so i don’t think this will be as damning to me as you might think
/shitpost for a sec: i think i recognize the book cover, is this the one where there’s a quote about recording brutality with cell phones being dehumanizing?
if i am thinking of the right thing i was not impressed by that tiny moment at least because it comes off as super dismissive to the value cell phone video has brought to POC in the fight against police brutality. but maybe i am wrong or taking it out of context.
inb4 “why censor”; i did it to make you angry. you specifically.
Thanks, I need some anger to feel alive.

SKSKSKSK so fragile
The other nice thing is you just block assholes like this and never have to think about them ever again.
SOBBING THIS IS SO FUNNY
I wasn’t angry at first for the censoring, but now I’m angry at you for trying to manipulate me.

It does bug me, but hey that’s what the block feature is for.

Very interesting read
