“I bless the (lion) rains down in Africa.”
Brings new meaning to “raining cats and dogs.”
“And that’s how grandpa beat the Nazis, Billy.”
Just for gits & shiggles, I tracked this one down.
It’s evidently from a “Fantomah” sequence from Jungle Comics, debuting in 1940, so I believe your comment is pretty apt!
