I’ve had a few days to calm down and process things and I’ve come to the realization that I was wrong to have calmed down

Depending on how old they are and where they grew up, my assumption would be the Pizza Hut Big Foot, a massive rectangular pizza that was roughly 1 foot by 2 feet, cut into squares

Different people remember different things? It’s really not that complicated. What one brain decides is worth holding onto might not be worth it to another.

Hell, even what we do remember is half hallucinated to fill in the gaps (probably not the right word for it, but you get the idea)

Hell, could probably even make it $29.99 for the identical pants and people will still go with that because they think they’re paying five more bucks and getting a $60 pair of pants

Webkit is the engine used by Safari (among a few others) and, though I think the project is controlled by Apple, it’s licensed LGPLv2.1 and BSD 2-Clause

According to the wiki, it’s also used in PlayStation, Kindle, Nintendo devices, and the Tizen mobile OS… Additionally, it’s apparently the rendering engine used by the default browsers provided by both the KDE and Gnome projects

Honestly, though, I want to see something that’s not part of the Mosaic or KHTML families be made and gain at least some foothold…I hate having the Internet basically controlled by one or two mega corporations.

I still wish Opera hadn’t abandoned Presto…

Honestly, I would be fine with Blink being default if Google would divest it from themselves and make it an independent open source project that they just contribute to instead of control. They have far too much power with that one bit of tech to shape the Internet as we know it, along with a large chunk of computing that happens offline thanks to the growing ubiquity of node.js/Electron

And they’re actively using that control to restrict what we can even do with our own machines right now

I legit think the cams should not be able to be turned off, footage reviewed by a third party watchdog at the end of each shift, and any instances where the cam was covered or positioned to potentially miss something explained.

Instances of cops being accused of doing something where they clearly turned off their cams, at the very least, should be treated as if the plaintiff is telling the truth by default since the cop took steps to hide potential evidence

Honestly, I’d be cool with that

Ooh, that actually doesn’t sound bad… Slightly tart sweet with the salty tang of the sauce, maybe with a kick of spice from jalapenos… I’ll have to give that a try sometime
