Blend OS is trying to do the declarative nixos thing but with an arch base. That’s pretty cool.

ClearOS was Intel’s attempt at an immutable os. From what I remember it was really fast.

I’ve heard it called a luxury issue by some. As in an issue that privileged people take up because they already have the privilege of safety and order.

I mean yeah cops disproportionately target certain groups of people. Their training sucks and has the added bonus of making them trigger happy schizos who see crime and offence where it doesn’t exist. But also I think it’s pretty obvious that there needs to be some sort of law enforcement/peace keeping group.

Police reform? I can get behind that. Abolishing police? Sounds kinda dumb.

Yeah I think there’s a difference between having a smell and smelling bad. I’ve been told many times that I have a smell(musk) and that it’s different from when I smell bad. A female friend of mine has borrowed clothes and protective equipment from me. Rain jacket: smells like me, kneepads: smell really bad.

I strongly recommend being happy, one of the best feelings really. I’ve tried the other emotions and they just don’t feel the same. (But seriously I’m no fun when I’m depressed. People like being around happy people, it’s contagious)

If I think I’m a lost cause, why would I even try. Some people think they deserve to feel like shit. But I also agree with you that the desire to not feel like shit is what got me working to feel better. But liking myself is the lube that keeps the whole machine from seizing up into anxiety and depression.

As a fairly attractive person who also suffers from depression. It really doesn’t matter. I can find so many reasons why other people don’t like me. So many reasons why my actions are ultimately pointless and worthless. And that’s the thing, when I’m depressed I think I’m ugly. Don’t take my word for it, think of all the Hollywood stars that have or do suffer from depression.

I don’t think it matters what you have. Depression can make a shit sandwich out of any situation. But once you work through it and become fun to be around things change. Even if you’re only fun for yourself to be around, that’s one more person who likes you.

Been on and off Warframe since it launched (beta maybe), but it’s always like years between. I probably only have like 60 hours total. So whenever I come back I’m just as lost as when I started playing. Like oh, I have a ship now, oh there’s story now, you can fly! No wait it sucks, there’s an open world section!

I don’t have the time for Warframe now, but it could be fun to be confused with other people.

I would get creative with it, just because she’s horrible doesn’t mean you don’t get to have a good time. “The purveyor of lies”, “fount of unreason”, maybe give her a nickname that relates to one of her mistakes. If you can come up with something new every time it can become like a game, even if you’re only saying them in your head.

I mean, looking like you know what you’re doing, looking confident doesn’t mean you have to dress plain.
