But you can have that in Austria as well or France or Italy. They are all in the Alps. Or even not as tall parts of the Alps in Slovenia or Germany.

Same for me. I can’t even tell you why I find it fascinating, but I do find it fascinating.
Not universally incorrect. There seem to be regional differences. In Germany it is: use the arm on the side you want to turn to.
Yeah and the other part is proud of that fact, which fits to be honest…
It’s not so much nature lovers but social media “content creators” who are criticized here.
There was a case I read of a man caring for a beautiful patch of flowers, but then it got famous on social media and those assholes went there in buses, took pictures lying in there and destroyed it. Heartbreaking to read about that one. Sadly I can’t find that specific case anymore, but there are enough articles about the problem, like this one.
Thanks for sharing your work here, I especially like your interesting cast of characters a lot!
It is rare in a fictional work to see somebody truly believe in a religion but not liking (all of) it. In the D&D setting they could choose to believe in another god and then they go into that after life, if they stay true to that new believe, right? It’s an interesting perspective to accept a believe based metaphysical thing as it is, even if you don’t like the whole package (ideals+after life).
And rumors regarding past events need to be rumors far more often! =D
The car bomb is triggered by turning the ignition. The POV is of the unsuspecting victim, so no bomb in view, just the view of turning the ignition.
Just a small correction: Horus is not the god of death, but the god of ruling, war and the sky. The role of god of death fits better to Anubis or Osiris, depending on how you interpret the role.
Garbage comes in different states of matter…
