      Yes yes, we all know that. But the rest of us aren’t ignoring all the rest of history, in particular (but not exclusively) the Southern Strategy.

      So I appreciate your attempt to deploy this tired old bit of trivia that R thinks is some kind of gotcha, but it was weak sauce in the earliest days of the internet, and it still is.
