Within a few weeks, they conquered land equivalent to what Germany conquered in their entire Eastern campaign.

Still, their contribution wasn’t even mentioned in the victory speech by the British commander, they received less money than European or Asian soldiers, and they were the only ones who could be legally beaten as a disciplinary action.
